An excellent opportunity exists for an ideal candidate to join Rex as a part-time Catering Officer at Sydney Airport.
This position is shift work requiring work across a 7-day rotating roster.
Reporting:
The Catering Officer will report to the Sydney Catering Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities:
- Delivery of inflight catering to REX and it’s customer airlines
- Assembly and replenishment of inflight catering, stores and amenities
- Safe operation of catering vehicles
- Completion of relevant documentation
- General duties associated with pick and pack assembly process
- Awareness and adherence to safety and security requirements on company premises and on the ramp
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, and safety and security requirements
Selection Criteria:
- Previous airline or inflight catering experience is desirable.
- Food safety and food handling experience desirable.
- Must be able to hold an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) and Airside Driver’s Licence.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Able to work shift work that includes early starts, evenings, and weekend work
- Job is physical requiring a good level of fitness
- Ability to work in a team environment
